After a few days of wondering if I need a <a href="http://www.flickr.com/upgrade/">pro account,</a> I finally handed over my $24.95 and went pro. I've been glued to it ever since. I plan to use it as an overspill from my main photoblog, create more photo sets, and upload images direct from my mobile while I'm out and about.<br />

        <![CDATA[<p>For a while now we have been looking for a piece of software to replace our current studio management system. Something that ran on the Mac, many of the current crop of systems are Windows only, and something easy to use &ndash; a stand alone app that doesn't need Filemaker. We finally settled on <a href="http://www.oranged.net/studiometry/">Studiometry</a>, a program that can track all our projects, it syncs with Apple's iCal and Address Book, and takes care of our accounting. I swear it makes a damn fine espresso too!</p>]]>
